A Start on my General Aviation

Another chapter in my life. Kind of a long story, but I've been flying trikes for about five years. I was thinking of getting a trike for those days when you can't get up in hang gliders so easy. I searched and there was many types and the prices were high. The best trikes were heavy and fast. If it's cold out, it would be windy and cold...I already have experience with that! I flew in an enclosed ultralight at the Sun n Fun Fly-in, in Florida, April 2007. Even in Florida, it was nice to turn on the cabin heat. That was when I made my decision to just focus on my private pilot license and NOT decide what trike to get. I went home and found a few old Cessna's. I purchased a 1966 Cessna 150 at the begining of June, 2007 and started my lessons again from 7 years prior. I soloed in two weeks and this was the day of my solo 2007 June, First Solo again and this is where the rest of my Airplane Photos are.

1997 was the First World Air Games. This was a highlight in my hang gliding career and a great travelling experience. The hard part was being gone for a month while my daughter grew. I met so many great people in Turkey and had a wonderful experience travelling and being in the competition. Read about it here.

Following Nati. A flying friend I met at the 1997 World Air Games in Turkey. He was an Israeli citizen supporting the Israel hang gliding team. We had great fun and stay in contact. This is some of the excerpts from his worldly pursuit, and his plan to be a top commercial pilot.

Florida International University has a great link for teaching applications of math and science for aviation, or general education.

If you like pictures of dust devils, here is a great Link.
